Getting around Trams/Busses
Basel is well connected by public transport with 12 separate tram lines running throughout the city & country along with many bus lines.
Tickets are available at every stop on either both or one side of the road. It doesn’t matter which side of the track you buy your ticket as you are buying it for the station/zone and not the direction.
You can choose multiple ticket types and will need to pick a zone dependant on where you are going. See the below map with zones outlined.
